On October 7, 2026, the Independent Learning Center (ILC) held a talk
titled "How to Explore the World and Learn Languages Simultaneously for
Free."

Presented by Lect. Kevser Özdemir, the session introduced students to
practical ways of traveling abroad on a budget while practicing a
foreign language. Students learned about alternative travel options,
including living with host families, WWOOFing, Couchsurfing,
Worldpackers exchanges, and volunteering in hostels. During the event,
participants asked questions, and practiced their English.

Thank you to Lect. Kevser Özdemir and all the students who joined the
session!
