ILC Event News: "Step Into the Unseen" Workshop

On September 30, 2026, the Independent Learning Center (ILC) hosted its
first event of the semester: "Step Into the Unseen: Experiencing Life
Through Other Senses."

Moderated by Lect. Fehim Hur and Lect. Nihal Toprakcı, the workshop
focused on empathy and sensory awareness. Wearing blindfolds, students
did interactive tasks using only touch and hearing. This gave them a
chance to understand the daily experiences of visually impaired
individuals while working together and practicing their English. At the
end of the session, students shared their ideas and reflections.
