On May 27, 2025, the Independent Learning Center hosted a workshop titled “Word of the Year: Language that Captures Our Times”, led by Lect. Anıl Çobanoğlu Dede.

Students worked in groups to explore how language reflects social and cultural changes. The session offered a fun and interactive way to think about the words we use every day.
